Tim Albright recently joined the faculty at SUNY Purchase in Purchase, NY. "I'm really excited to work in this talented and vibrant brass program and to teach along side some of the finest brass players in the country." said Tim. "In addition to working with the fine students, I'm now a member of the Purchase faculty quintet, New York Chamber Brass, which lets me pursue my love for quintet playing when I'm not with my friends in ABQ. Tim is also currently on faculty at the Juilliard Pre-College Division, about which he said, "This really is an amazing program. I teach trombone and chamber music to some of the most enthusiastic young musicians I have met. If you are in the New York area and are serious about the trombone, you should apply!" Brass auditions for the 2010-11 school year will be held May 20, 2010.
